CAPAFC： 近日校董Dalia Palchik女士在邮件中通报费郡学区预算事宜。目前情况分析尚有28million的预算缺口，一些学校已经开始调整师资分配。
“The School Board Chairman will deliver remarks at the Board of Supervisors budget public hearing on April 5th at 4:00 pm at the Fairfax County Government Center in the Board Auditorium. This will be followed by public hearings on April 6th and 7th at 1 p.m. in the Government Center Board Auditorium. With the additional state funding approved by the General Assembly for FY2017, there is approximately a $51 million gap between the schools’ advertised budget and the proposed transfer from the Board of Supervisors included in the County’s Advertised Budget. If the supervisors choose to pass a four-cent tax increase it would provide additional revenue of approximately $22.5 million that could be transferred to schools.
On April 19, the Board of Supervisors will have their budget mark-up, which determines the budget package and tax rate. They will adopt the county budget, tax rate resolution, and transfer amount to schools on April 26.”
